Hello!
I am Dr. Fei Yi, a licensed clinical psychologist based in California. With a passion for depth psychology, I am dedicated to helping people gain insights into their motivations and resolve emotional conflicts. My area of expertise is family relationship trauma in the Asian American community.
My bi-cultural background, having been born and raised in China and then continuing her psychology studies and work in the US, gives me a deep understanding of both Eastern and Western cultures, providing unique perspectives for clients navigating their own cultural identities and experiences. With a wealth of experience gained from working in university counseling centers, community mental health centers, and assessment clinics, I have served diverse and complex patient populations.
I believe that the best therapists are those who have gone through their own trials, and that is why I have devoted significant effort to self-discovery and personal growth through a variety of continuing education, including personal analysis, peer consultation, process groups, and group relations conferences.
Now residing in the San Francisco Bay Area with my partner, I enjoy being surrounded by nature, curating vintage jewelry, and creative writing.
